ENROLLMENT OF NEW STUDENT/TOUR OF ASA CLARK

New prospective families to the Pewaukee School District that would like a tour of Asa Clark Middle School (7th and 8th grades), can schedule a tour by contacting School Counselor Adriana Plach (262-695-5057 or placadr@pewaukeeschools.org).

If enrolling a 7th or 8th grade student at Asa Clark Middle School for the 2014-15 school year, please select the "New Families/Registration" tab to the left, and then select the "Enrollment Paperwork" folder where you will find all of the forms necessary to enroll a new student.  When completing either a 7th or 8th Grade Course Selection Sheet, please feel free to reference the Course Description Guide which will provide you with a description for each course.

The following enrollment forms should be submitted to:

- Completed 7th or 8th Grade Course Selection Sheet for the 2014-15 school year
- Completed Enrollment Form
- Completed Home Language Survey Form

- Document to prove residency within Pewaukee School District boundaries (i.e., water bill, electric bill, etc.)

SUMMER HOURS - ASA CLARK MS OFFICE

The Asa Clark MS Office will be open on the following days during the month of July, 2014 from 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.:

July 1, 2, 9, 11, 15, 16, 17, 18, 23, 25, 28, 29 & 30

The Asa Clark MS Office will be open daily (Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.) beginning August 4 through August 22, 2014.

Beginning August 25, 2014 (first day of school for students), the Asa Clark MS Office will be Monday through Friday beginning at 7:00 a.m.

ACMS 2014-15 IN-PERSON REGISTRATION & OPEN HOUSE

ACMS's in-person registration and open house for the 2014-15 school year will both be held on August 20, 2014 as follows:

In-person registration:  3:30 - 7:30 p.m.
Open house:  3:30 - 6:30 p.m.

Things to accomplish during in-person registration:

1.  Pick up student's official schedule
2.  Pay school fees (by cash or check)
3.  Drop-off medical with a healthroom representative
4.  Deposit money into student's lunch account
5.  Have school picture taken
6.  Pick-up locker assignment and set-up locker
7.  Pick-up school forms (i.e., calendar, staff telephone numbers, etc.) 
8.  Pick-up PTO information

Things to accomplish during open house:

1.  Walk through student's 1st semester schedule
2.  Meet teachers and visit classrooms
3.  Pick-up ACMS athletic/club information

MUSICAL PERFORMANCE OF ALADDIN

Mid May 2014, Asa Clark Middle School's drama class and club students performed the musical "Aladdin".  Congratulations to the cast and crew on your stellar performances.  Please enjoy the slide show above which contains pictures from the musical. 
 
2014 ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL OF THE YEAR

Asa Clark Middle School and the Pewaukee School District are proud to announce that ACMS Associate Principal Lisa Rettler has been named the 2014 Assistant Principal of the Year for the State of Wisconsin.  This award is sponsored by the Association of Wisconsin School Administrators (AWSA).  Ms. Rettler is very deserving of this recognition based on her outstanding work in supporting teaching and learning through a student-centered approach, innovative practices, and systems thinking.

ATTENDANCE REPORTING FOR STUDENTS

Please call the Attendance Office (262-695-5024) each morning (prior to 7:30 a.m.) your child will be absent from school or tardy to school.  If your child has an appointment during the school day, send a note with your child stating the time they need to leave and the reason.  Your child should bring this note to the Attendance Office prior to 1st hour the day of their appointment to get an off-campus permit.

FAMILY INFORMATION CHANGES

In an effort to keep current with parent/school communication, parents/guardians are being asked to update their contact information through Family Access anytime there is a change during the school year to your e-mail address, home address, home/work/cell telephone numbers, etc.  Thank you for your assistance with this request.  Contact Mrs. Carrigan with questions (262-695-5034 or carrcyn2@pewaukeeschools.org).


FOOD SERVICE

It is important to check the balance of your child's food service account either with your child or through Family Access.  When submitting food service payments to the school office, please make certain all money/checks are submitted in a sealed envelope with your child's first and last name PRINTED on the front of the envelope.  Students should bring this payment to the school office prior to the start of the school day.  Contact Mrs. Carrigan with questions (262-695-5034 or carrcyn2@pewaukeeschools.org).
